We offer beaded weft hair extensions and K-tip hair extensions for areas where wefts cannot be used. • Our beaded weft extensions use a hidden bead method customized to enhance your natural hair with color, thickness, and length. They are lightweight, comfortable from day one, and allow you to wear your hair up without discomfort. • Our K-tip extensions are used around the hairline and crown to add fullness where wefts are not suitable.

At this time, we only offer K-tips as enhancements alongside beaded wefts. We believe that beaded wefts provide the most coverage and best results for our salon guests. K-tips are a beautiful addition, but full K-tip installations are not currently offered.

Client experience is everything to us. Not only do we want you to look beautiful, but we want you to feel your best too. Every appointment begins with a moment of wellness with an invigorating scalp massage to stimulate your hair follicles and prepare you for your service.

For new installs, breakfast or lunch and refreshments are provided.

During your appointment: • Each weft is custom-colored for a flawless, seamless blend into your natural hair. • We use premium, high-quality extension hair with double the grams of a standard weft but with a thin top, giving you fullness without the bulk. • After your install, we provide one-on-one training on how to maintain your hair extensions at home and send you home with a take-home care bag valued at $300 filled with professional haircare products.

All appointments are one-on-one in a spa-like private salon environment.

Anything we do to our hair has the potential for damage when done improperly, even brushing. That is why at Sol de Rae, we have perfected our extension installs to use minimal points of contact, creating a healthy and safe grow-out.

When you follow our home care instructions and use the recommended professional haircare products, you can actually expect to see substantial improvement in the health of your natural hair over time.

Yes. In fact, the majority of our hair extension clients have fine hair. Our beaded wefts are extremely lightweight, so you will not feel pulling or discomfort.

If there is ever a concern about your hair density, we will invite you for an in-person consultation to ensure extensions are the right fit. We will never install extensions if you are experiencing active hair loss or do not have enough hair to cover the wefts naturally.

We do offer wavy and curly hair extension options! However, not every curl pattern is always available, as sourcing high-quality naturally curly hair can be challenging. The best way to find the right match for your hair is to book a consultation with us. We’ll assess your natural texture and see if we currently have a close match available. We’re constantly testing new hair and expanding our texture line, so don’t hesitate to reach out, we’d love to discuss your options in more detail!

Your first appointment will be a full day of pampering. You will enjoy robes, champagne, refreshments, and lunch.

Your install includes luxury human hair extensions custom-colored specifically for you. We will refresh or change your hair color using high-end professional products that leave your hair soft, shiny, and healthy. After your installation, you will receive one-on-one extension care training and a take-home box filled with all the haircare products and tools you will need to maintain your extensions between appointments.

At Sol de Rae, we offer different levels of stylists. Every stylist has gone through intense training, rigorous test-outs, and hands-on evaluations. Every artist on our team is someone we would personally trust to do our own hair.

The biggest difference between our stylists is their level of expertise and timing behind the chair. Senior stylists typically have more years of experience and offer faster appointment times. Junior stylists provide the same high-quality results with a little more time and care during the service. No matter who you book with, you will receive a beautiful, personalized experience.

With proper home care, extension hair can last six to nine months or longer.

Lighter-colored hair extensions may need to be replaced sooner. You will be provided with detailed home care instructions, a personalized extension care session, and professional haircare products to ensure the best possible longevity.

Maintenance appointments occur every six to eight weeks. These appointments include extension removal, a scalp and shoulder massage, detox and treatment, color refresh, and reinstall.

Maintenance pricing will be discussed during your consultation after completing the online application.

Yes. Extensions are installed around the natural curves of your head, allowing you to wear a low or high ponytail comfortably.

The beads are concealed even for clients with very fine hair, so no one will know you are wearing hair extensions. If you frequently wear your hair up for work or exercise, you might need slightly more frequent move-up appointments.

Working out with hair extensions just requires a few extra home care steps.

You will want to blow-dry your extensions after working out and plan for move-ups every six weeks. You can wear your hair in a ponytail, bun, or braid during workouts without any issues. A thick gym ponytail adds instant confidence.

We do not install outside hair extensions. We only install extension hair that has been sourced, tested, and customized by our salon to ensure the best quality and longevity for your investment.

We do not recommend coloring or toning your extensions at home. All custom coloring should be done by your stylist to protect the hair’s integrity and to ensure a seamless match with your natural hair.

If you ever wish to remove your extensions, we offer safe and gentle removal services. We always recommend professional removal to maintain the health of your natural hair.
